A 20 x 15 board mounted piece, gifted to me from my son and daughter in law. Looks good next to the Mary Kaye strat.

Cool patent drawing.
Years ago, I spent a whole day in a patent library. Fascinating! What was really surprising was the number of ridiculous, impractical concepts that had nonetheless been patented but, obviously, never successfully marketed. It's also amazing how many different inventions have been patented to solve one, specific problem or perform a certain task. Sometimes, they differ from one another only in fairly minute ways.
The total number of U.S. patents that have been granted is utterly staggering. I was researching a specialized, out-of-production, automotive tool from the 1930s whose purpose was very limited and specific, but I had just scratched the surface after several hours of reviewing microfilm.

I have a couple Riefenstahl prints in my live room.
That's as arty as I get.
