You are not alone. Still 10 weeks of potential real snow....snow in April doesn't count. ibb.co/M7ZtN7b

If we had that much snow here the house would be dark.

We don't get snow at that level here. The record was 15" in 1948 so it's possible but not very likely. The average is just under 3."

My bud and former next door cottage neighbor up in Ontario sent me this pic a few years back. He would snowbird near us in Florida but always make sure to get back for snowmobile season. This is his son clearing the way for his return in mid March.

Around here we don’t get enough snow for the counties/municipalities to invest in a lot of snow removal equipment.

Last year the snow in the "island" area inside my circle drive was about 50" deep.

Got 28 inches over night once. We had a VW Dasher that got very good traction but with snow past the bumper it just could not push through.

Got 28 inches over night once. We had a VW Dasher that got very good traction but with snow past the bumper it just could not push through. The most we've gotten here in my lifetime is 16". That resulted in drifts over 4' high that stymied my diesel Excursion, which is essentially an SUV built on the F-250 chassis.
