Elon Musk announced yesterday that there won't be a snazzy new model Tesla hitting showrooms this year. Mr. Musk said that company attention will be focused on meeting current demand, and fine tuning the various names for his "self driving" software. "We thought about 'look Ma, no hands,' but figured some bozo out there would take us seriously, as has been seen already, with our 'absolutely autonomous self driving while occupants play Twister,' mode." Musk added that he will no longer be participating in Tesla earnings calls, "because every time I say something stupid, Tesla stock is affected." Before the end of the news conference, Musk refused to comment on his Falcon X rocket, that will impact the moon on March 4th. A spokesman for Tesla said that the rocket was performing normally after launching a satellite, but the moon suddenly got in the way. "It's not like you can predict where the moon will be at any given time. It was probably in self driving mode." www.space.com/spacex-falcon-9-rocket-hit-moon-march-2022

Don't we have a hero like Captain James T. 'Ahab' Kirk to strike down the white whale before this happens?

I wondered about that. I checked the position of the moon twice last night and it was in a different spot both times.
