If you're out there Tony, I want to thank you again for turning me on to Chickenos Reaper back in 2014. I'm still using it (now on ver. 6.46). Such a deal at $60. My latest project used as a backing track (sans vocals) for my church:

Very cool Mark, now that's some production. Has a bit of a Genesis feel. Love the unexpected placement of some of the guitar blasts throughout. Great job!

I couldn't get the link to work. I couldn't either on my phone, it kept trying to get me into an app I didn't have. But I was able listen on my laptop with cans on. It went right to Soundcloud.

I opened it on my desktop and it went to Soundcloud but not to that song. I couldn't find it. It had a "Picks For You" page with a bunch of my own songs on it as well as a couple other people I know and a playlist for Black History Month as well as some Hip Hop and R&B stuff. I couldn't find anything by the name You Are Good.

Thanks guys. I'm wondering if the Tony I'm thinking about is Tony Wright. In any case, here's another link to my SoundClick playlist that might work better for those having problems with SoundCloud:
Cheers Mark

Tony Wright is the guy I remember from days past. He did post here some time ago but is now absent and hasn't replied to emails.

I'm still using Tracktion 7 myself (now Waveform) - I just haven't had a reason to upgrade. It's rock solid, my mixing surface and it talk well, and it's very low overhead while sounding good.
I use Reaper for a few client projects (since they do, I just get the entire project file and can give it back in the same).

Very nice sound and recording Mark! Thanks for posting it. I am considering using Reaper Audio Recording software for personal purposes. I am assuming this is the Reaper you refer to, correct?

Tony Wright was such a wealth of info, and a great dude to boot. I learned a ton from his posts when I was first exploring PA info. Where ever you are Tony I hope you are well!!

Reaper is the bomb. I got turned onto it from another FDPer many years ago, Nicnite(Nick Jaffe) and have loved it ever since. Still use it on client projects and all. Great DAW.

I think my next DAW upgrade is going to be Presonus' Studio One. I'm going to have to change at some point and there's no way I'm going to continue using Pro Tools. I am using an old version now and I can't update my computer until I change DAWs. I'm still using Windows 8.1 for that reason and that reason only. I really like Pro Tools but I loathe Avid's business practices. There's no way in hell I'm going to pay their ridiculously high annual rate just for permission to pay them just because that's their business model.

So far, one of it's big detractors for me is high CPU usage for some reason. It's a great DAW, though. I'm concerned what changes will be made now that Fender has bought Presonus. I have Pro Tools 2019 and have a perpetual license, so I haven't upgraded. I MIGHT if I have enough clients, just to get the Native Silicon going for my M1. But yea, Avid sucks big time.
