Oh now that looks good. Can't go wrong with Filtertrons. Perhaps my favorite pickup in the universe. I paticularly like the ghost guitar player in the woodgrain on the back...and he's a righty. You got that part correct Reminded me of this:

I see a horse's face on the back.

Three brass saddles and Filtertrons. What could possibly go wrong? Nice work.

Thanks all.
I chose this body for it grain-oddities.
The neck is a Warmoth I bought several years ago. The headstock was red sparkle in its previous life. I stripped that away and refinished the neck.

This guitar is a ton of fun! It’s a first for me, putting f-trons in a Tele.
I love this guitar through my Winfield Cyclone.

Filtertrons in a Tele make for a really versatile guitar.

Thanks! But you have to play along. What did you see in the Rohrshach test?
We all have our interpretations from there. 👀

Okay… Hang on… After a quick study, and having already read all of the posts so far, I honestly see something that looks like the sister of Cecil The Sea Sick Sea Serpent. Sorry that’s what I see.

I need to consult the Magic 8 Ball on that one.

A lot of folks are unaware that Filtertrons can twang and bark. You can increase the twang by adding a treble bypass on the volume pot and backing off the volume to about 7 or 8. I have a version of that; built it around the 2008 timeframe. At least it's not a Carbonita!

I did a volume & tone on this guitar - '50s wiring.
Yes! The bark and growl is pretty dang sweet!

Is that a ghost at port arms on the back? Nice work on that one.

I have that same neck on my H-H strat build. Is that a Gibson scale? Tuners are pretty groovy, what dey?

This one is 25.5”.
IIRC it was an in-stock neck.

I'm also curious about the tuners.
