This will be used primarily on guitar pots, jacks, switches.
Mention a source while you're at it. My local electronics supply store seems to want me to take out a second mortgage on my house so that I can afford what they're selling. Thanks in advance.

I've been using Deoxit D5 with good results. I had a can of Peavey Funk Out for a long time, finally retired that can. I believe I got the Deoxit from Amazon, not sure about availability in Cal.

I've always used Deoxit, but I'll be curious if anyone has better suggestions. It has gotten expensive, and I REALLY hate the new cap/straw design.
Local music store for me, I think from Hosa. Probably not the most cost effective.

Thanks, Auf: I went with the Funkout. I like Sweetwater and the product is Made in USA.
They all seem kinda pricey, but whatcha gonna do?

Lot of the cost on that is environmental/shipping costs - it's not cheap to deal with.
It never was cheap, my last can of Deoxit and Faderlube were still almost $10 a pop, and that was years ago now.

I agree with Rob. It’s always seemed expensive. But it works and a can lasts a long time.

I bought some kind of contact cleaner from my local Home Depot. It was for a scratchy pup selector. It’d work for a while then the scratchiness returned. Ordered a can of Deoxit from Sweetwater and I was surprised the order went through. I’m a believer. 👍🏼

I like Deoxit 5. Really great stuff. It lubricates in addition to cleaning oxidation off where as contact cleaner does a good job at cleaning but removes the lubrication Necessary for smooth operation
