No local shops have one in stock for me to get my hands on, but I'm intrigued by it. I've always loved the idea of acoustics that played as electrics; I used to have a Danelectro Convertible years ago and always liked it (although it sounded terrible unplugged). Has anyone played one of these? The price seems steep, but I'm used to that now... thanks inflation!

Fishman Loudbox Mini for 10+ years gigging and rehearsing. Never tried anything else.

Yes. Acoustasonics are fine amps. I also have a Marshall Acoustic amp. Roland makes a nice amp. But I find the Fishman Loudbox just seems tp do it better than the others in that niche.
The problem is once you get a Bose system everything else is 'meh'. But there is a huge difference in price.

Played the Tele version, with ziricote specifically. Looked great and played decent. Tele rear-electric pickup tone was okay but not *quite* a Tele. The dreadnought tones, somewhat surprisingly, were quite good. The Acoustasonic fills a niche but it is a concentrated niche.

I've had the Tele version for a year. The control and tone options are just right for me, simple but versatile. The playability is really good (I find myself playing and chording it like an electric guitar all the time) and the slim profile and reduced acoustic volume make it the perfect couch guitar. Play it in a hotel room and the guests in the adjacent rooms shouldn't have reason to complain. This guitar goes with me when I travel. When I want to "electrify" I just play straight through my Bose S1 PA and it sounds great. Nothing fancy, which is the way I like it. It's the best $2K I've spent in quite a while.

It would be nice if my old Precision had an anti gravity switch.

It would be nice if my old Precision had an anti gravity switch. I could say that for a few of my guitars. In the past five years I've sold-off some of my heaviest guitars and I may not be done. It pains me to think I'd sell my Lester R0 and Gibby ES335 but it may come to that.

I’’ve been using a stool with a foot rest for the last ten years or so. I’ve also been using the guild Star fire, I still use the stool.
Suffering for our music shouldn’t include the lower lumbar.
