My wife and I watched both seasons then started rewatching when some family came to visit. Equally enjoyable. Great escapism from the usual drek. A mix of Brit and American humor.

I picked this up since I’m in my 3 month trial of Apple TV+.
I am smitten with this series. Funny, uplifting and thoughtful. I’m well-into S:3 and I’m seriously digging it.

I thought season 3 fizzled quite a bit, loved the 1st and 2nd seasons.

I just finished it.
I thought S:3 was excellent. I was totally hooked going into it (S:3) so I suppose that had something to do with my enjoyment.
I suppose it had to end the way it did. Anything else wouldn't have been right. Even Rupert looked like he was finally on his journey to the be the best version of himself. He had to do it the hard way.

I can't remember if it was season 1 or 2, but the episode where Beard goes off on a surreal nighttime adventure didn't land with me the first time. But when I rewatched it a second time totally dug it.
Lots of great characters, but Roy Kent really stood out. Oye!

I'm not sure I'd want another season, TBH. I think they stuck the landing.
There are lots of great characters, for sure. I'd have a hard time picking one that stood out the most for me.

That series suffered only from premature conclusion. I think that it had legs for 3 more seasons, but it left on a high note, so there is that.

My daughter highly recommended Ted Lasso to me. My initial impression was Jason Sedakis is playing Andy Griffith. By the 3rd episode I was all in. The writing is top notch. Per my daughter the series was originally planned to be 3 seasons only and I think that was the correct call.

Given the final episode I can’t see another season. FWIW I think they should listen to me and resist the temptation.

Truly excellent TV, magnificently written and superbly acted.

I agree. Excellent TV. A true gem in the rubble.
Language aside. But I get it. English Football culture. There was a time in my life…

The interaction between Roy and his niece Phoebe was pretty great. 😂

That little girls was getting rich off of his swear fine.
One of the dumb little things that always brought a smile was when the fans in the pub would sing “Jamie Tartt” to the tune of “Baby Shark.” The three guys in the pub might have been my favorite “character.”
One of my LOL moments came during the “Total Football” training with the red string. The black guy goes down to the trainer and gets some red string and brings it back up to the stands - looking for a volunteer to try it.

Never seen it. We don't have apple TV, so I guess it's not really an option for us....

I’m on a free trial. I doubt we’ll keep it.
