Looks like some cool Sub-$1k guitars are inbound.
A Epiphone Les Paul Special with P90s:
And Yamaha Revstars:
The Revstars come in two levels of features.
I don't need another LP (I can't believe I said that) but the Swift Blue Revstar RSS looks muy groovy.

Yeah, it is. And the ‘50s neck profile too.
I have Gibson SG and LP Tribs - both with P90s. So the Epi is off my list.
I do like the RSS Revstar in Swift Blue a lot. 🤔

All the Yamaha Revstars I've handled and played were superb guitars. Fit and finish were extremely good for the market slice they're aimed at.

The RSS comes with SS frets and a graphite reenforced neck. That’s pretty good on a sub-$1k geetar.
I haven’t completely sold myself one yet. I’ve been herd-thinning lately. We’ll see.
