The form-fit case for the Flying V is known as a "rocket" case due to its shape. And in my case [snort!] it takes the concept up a notch. A pal of mine at work is super artistic and she asked me if I'd like a custom painting on a guitar case. I took about two weeks to think about which case and what the subject would be. I was really close to having her paint a tree on my Gibson J45's case. But one day I was playing the Flying V, and when I was a wee Peegoo I wanted to be an astronaut, so it was a done deal right then and there: a space scene on my V's rocket case, with a rocket launching into space. Robin nailed the vibe I was thinking about, down to the cartoony loop-de-loop in the rocket's smoke trail. This is a work of art. I am over the moon [har!] about the outcome.  ![]() |

Now you need the photon torpedo cases - the aluminum airstream flight cases of a few years back. I have a couple! A pal of mine has a Les Paul and an SG from the 2016? timeframe, and they both came with those aluminum cases. They are quite beautiful...and heavy! |

I was stunned when the shipping process for the guitars was single box, NO padding at all. I knew then it actually was a decent case as both arrived through UPS abuse with NOTHING off! They delayed most of the models that were intended to ship with them for 8-9 months - the cases were delayed. I'd been trying to get my hands on a HP series beast in the high end variety, and when they finally came out, it was two of the dozen promised finish varieties because of that. I decided to get the wine red instead of my hoped for silver on the first one, and the silvers were rarer than hen's teeth after. My second is Arctic White because of that too! |

Very cool! I collect all things Marvin the Martian. Perhaps I should do something like that on my guitar case. Of course, my man Marv would have to make the scene.

She is very talented! The one she did for you and the one with a tree are my favorites. Crows, nope not my bag of tea. Don't like them. My wife tho likes them and finds them humorous to watch
