I was playing Sunday morning at church and thought my tone sounded thin, so I rolled of the guitar's tone. After the song, I realized my wah was on at about half-sweep. It's not the first time I've done this. I was wondering if it's possible to add an LED so I can tell when it's on.

Yes you can, but it takes some surgery. You'll need to use a switch that provides you with two switched terminals for the 9v LED power supply (through a 2.2K resistor) from the battery/PS. Here's the idea incorporated into a passive volume box:

I did this in the past to my full-size CryBaby, along with modding it for true bypass. Was definitely worth it.
