I do pretty much everything to the left, except play guitar and bat. I feel like I could have played guitar and bat left-handed just fine, but I was taught how to do both right-handed style. Same here. My mom taught me when I was 12 in 1964 with right handed guitar. I whined wishing I had a left handed guitar. After few months getting more comfortable with it I now I couldn't play left if I tried.

Lefty. Write, throw, golf (not a golfer, but can get a decent swing lefty, can't do anything righty), and most tools lefty that aren't specifically righty. Scissors, computer mouse, anything else specifically designed for use in a right hand, and guitar all righty. Fun fact for righties: A standard mill file, yeah, a regular one you get at the hardware store.... that's a righty tool. Don't believe me? Try it lefty. The teeth don't line up with the work piece. Most power tools and appliances are right handed. Pay attention to where the controls/switches are... always in a right handed location. I suspect only 10% of lefties play guitar lefty, since the rate of lefty guitar sales seems to be below 1%. Your avatar photo say’s otherwise! Sorry couldn't pass that up.

I am right handed but left footed. When I was at school in the 50's/60's I played a lot of football/soccer and found I was a natural left footer. I was an okay player but always got picked for the team on the left wing as it is easier to cross the ball, a right footer would have to change feet to cross so most defenders would block on the right whereas when they did that to me I just whizzed past to complete the cross or whatever. My dad who was a handy amateur boxer in his army days, taught me and my cousins to box and he said something about me being a southpaw as I led with my left even though my natural writing hand was my right.

I am right handed, but started becoming left eye dominant about 15 years ago. Don't know why, but probably having to do with the fact that I had RK back in the '90s, and my left eye ended up 100% while my right tends to fade out a bit sometimes, like when I'm tired. I rarely shoot anymore, though, so it's not really a problem. Back in my LEO days, I was the training sergeant for many years, and a firearms instructor. Dealing with lefty shooters could be interesting, especially if they didn't grow up shooting (females, mostly). I learned a lot, all self-taught, about handedness and eye dominance. I like to think that I was able to help a bunch of people out. To this day I still notice when I run across a southpaw. Having been in Law enforcement I can see you noticing nuances in people and in the landscape around you

It took me 5 years after retiring to stop looking at expiration stickers while in traffic.
