Report say only 11% are Lefty's including me! But I am so messed up I write left handed but that is about it. I play guitar right handed, Kick a ball right foot, throw a ball left handed but catch a ball right handed (Yep why I never played ball except with my brothers who had a left hand glove) , Hammer a nail with right hand. I grew up in a right hand world and had to adapt.

I'm right-handed in all things but surf with my right-foot-forward ("goofy-foot") which is something done far more often by left-handed people. Don't know why I learned that way because I do just about every other sport (e.g.: batting/throwing in baseball, right-footed kicker in soccer or kickball) with my left foot forward. I did skim board and skate board right-foot-forward, but those two activities involve balancing skills which are very similar to those of surfing.

I’m ambidextrous and I never really gave it much thought until I started bass fishing. It’s nice being able to stick the lure where I want it no matter how the boat is positioned.

Joe Zawinul built a reverse keyboard with the high keys to the left, placed it on top or beside of a regular keyboard, and forced himself to play tunes in real time jumping back and forth between keyboards with both hands and then randomly with left hand regular and right hand reversed and then vice versa. Now THAT is ambidextrous!

Right handed. Both mom and dad righty as well as 2 out of 3 brothers. I can pet the dog left handed if need be.

I do different things with different hands. So you are either very talented or a mess like me
So far it is looking like right hand is winning and all us left hander's are "bipolar"
I forgot to add I am left eye dominent. I have always shot a gun or rifle right handed but recently found out I need to use my left eye more and shoot right handed.

My wife is left handed. Comes in handy for certain VW repair jobs where we work together. Now that we're thinking left handed ... did you ever notice how many actors are left handed? I automatically check when I watch a TV show or movie, and there are a lot!

The only things I do right handed are play guitar and bass (by the time I learned that there was an option, I didn't want to start over again) and scratch my left elbow.

Right handed but left eye dominant (more like right eye disabled), so anything that requires aiming I have to do left-handed. I play pool left handed, I shoot long guns left handed, I shoot pistols right handed but turn my head to aim with my left eye.

I am right handed, but started becoming left eye dominant about 15 years ago. Don't know why, but probably having to do with the fact that I had RK back in the '90s, and my left eye ended up 100% while my right tends to fade out a bit sometimes, like when I'm tired. I rarely shoot anymore, though, so it's not really a problem.
Back in my LEO days, I was the training sergeant for many years, and a firearms instructor. Dealing with lefty shooters could be interesting, especially if they didn't grow up shooting (females, mostly). I learned a lot, all self-taught, about handedness and eye dominance. I like to think that I was able to help a bunch of people out. To this day I still notice when I run across a southpaw.

I’m really all over the map, and depending on the test I take, I can end up more rightee than leftee.
Write - lefty Throw - lefty Bat - right Guitar - Leftee Eat - righty Eye dominance - right Shoot - righty

I voted righty, but there are a few things I can do with my left hand, like fret my guitar and play the bass part on the piano.

I'm excluded from this survey on geographical grounds, but can use this opportunity to mention my favourite example of supposedly scientific research getting its conclusions spectacularly wrong. Two studies (in the US as it happens, published in 1991) created a myth, which is sometimes still quoted as fact, that left-handed people die an average of nine years younger than those who are right-handed.
The researchers looked at published lists of the deceased in California, checked with the families whether they had been right or left-handed and this was the result. If it had been true, being left-handed would have the biggest impact on life expectancy we know of, even more than decades of chain-smoking.
The research was carried out when there was still a large number of people around who had been born left-handed, but brought up to use their right hand. Thus the people who died in the survey period, who had lived their lives left-handed, and whose families could report that, were mostly younger. They had been brought up when left-handedness was no longer seen as a problem to be corrected. The average age at death for the left-handed was, therefore, artificially low, because the researchers only looked at dead people, but it looked like a nine year reduction in life expectancy for everyone.

Write - lefty Throw - lefty Bat - right Guitar - right Eat - lefty Wipe (counters and such) - right Eye dominance - lefty Shoot - lefty Golf (okay, Putt Putt) - right
I chose lefty on the poll even though there much I do that's righty.

Write - lefty Throw - lefty Bat - right Guitar - Leftee Eat - righty Eye dominance - right Shoot - righty I’m close- Write- lefty Throw- lefty Kick- lefty Bat/hammer- Righty Guitar- Righty (started left, but switched as a kid) Eat- lefty (unless it’s a spoon, then righty…can’t explain it) Eye dominance- right, so had to switch shooting to right handed My right arm is my stronger arm also. I describe it as- if it’s intricate use the left hand, if it needs to pummeled, use the right. Also- my dad was left handed, and I think my grandson is. Everyone else are rightys.

Lefty.
Write, throw, golf (not a golfer, but can get a decent swing lefty, can't do anything righty), and most tools lefty that aren't specifically righty.
Scissors, computer mouse, anything else specifically designed for use in a right hand, and guitar all righty.
Fun fact for righties: A standard mill file, yeah, a regular one you get at the hardware store.... that's a righty tool. Don't believe me? Try it lefty. The teeth don't line up with the work piece.
Most power tools and appliances are right handed. Pay attention to where the controls/switches are... always in a right handed location.
I suspect only 10% of lefties play guitar lefty, since the rate of lefty guitar sales seems to be below 1%.

I do pretty much everything to the left, except play guitar and bat.
I feel like I could have played guitar and bat left-handed just fine, but I was taught how to do both right-handed style.

Regarding being forced to use your right hand. That pretty much buggered up the life of a friend who grew up across the street from me.

When I think of the longevity of lefties, I am reminded that half of the Beatles were left-handed. One of the righties lived to age 40, and the other to age 58. One of the left-handed one turns 82 this summer; the other hits 80 a few weeks before. I do wish they were all still alive.

Lefty but can do most things right handed.
I won a LOT of money shooting right handed at the gun club and did more than a few Inigo Montoya moments
Never bothered with guitar or bass lefty simply because the gentleman who saved me thousands of dollars and much hassle pointed out it was going to be a slog either way and I would ALWAYS have a harder time finding instruments AND paying more for them.
I am inordinately grateful I listened there.

Yeah Rich we are probably about the same age. Didn't have option until later on that is unless you had a lot of money to get one made for you.
