To join other a cappella choirs to sing at… CARNEGIE HALL! Originally scheduled for July 2020, it was going to be at the Lincoln Center but was canceled for obvious reasons. So proud of my wife and the choir. Oh and I’m tagging along for the ride. www.carnegiehall.org/Calendar/2022/04/10/TOTAL-VOCAL-0200PM

Very cool, but almost 16 hours in the air, round trip. Did the direct flight from Newark, NJ to Honolulu, and as someone who can’t fall asleep on a plane, that is a reeeeeally long time to be on a plane.

On the one hand: sincerest congrats!
On the other (generalization alert): having spent time in both, I can't think of too many places whose native inhabitants, on average, have attitudes which are more different.
Hawaii: "Aloha!"
New York: "WHADDYAWANT...EH??!!!"
