I found my old Maestro Fuzz Tone I bought in 68 or 69. It has a scorched component I will need to replace but it might be worth it. I would be curious to compare it to newer stuff. This is not the one Keef used on satisfaction, this is a year or 2 later. But still...

But still...you might be able to have a comfortable retirement if you sell it. Things are still crazy. I looked up my Maxon Roto Phase phaser on Reverb and there was one, asking over $1,500. There are a few that sold for close to that. Its a damn perfect phaser but I'm tempted to sell it. Edited to add a link to a nice article about the phaser. catalinbread.com/blogs/kulas-cabinet/maxon-ph-350-rotary-phaser

Replacement of whatever part will hurt the value, but non-working it's worth a ton less too.
Somebody will pay for it.
The basic circuit's been copied many many many times so if you just want the sound, buy a good repro, flip the original, bank some $$$

That was the first pedal I ever bought, also in about '68. I ran my first electric guitar, a Coral "Firefly" through it. Not understanding tube overdrive at the time, I was trying to get "that tone" with it.
