Here in boring Hamilton Township, NJ, we have had two major fires caused by solar panels on the roofs of businesses within a year- One was an enthusiastic event at a Home Depot, the other at a Hockey Rink. Both involved the roof panels, as well as control rooms in the building. Bothwere eventually extinguished without loss of structures.
Is this frequency of potential disasters found in other parts of the country? Should homeowners worry about their installations? Hah, should firefighters worry about their efforts to extinguish?

Sounds like installation issues.

I am wondering if it was the same installer.
