Well, if you hung through the first video, I guess you aren't among the JB haters, so:

Well I did and I ain't.
When SRV opened the '86 gig with this tune I was stunned. Until I found this one.

A bitter older, but still two of my favorites by JB:

Yeah I saw the Trufire vid last night. It showed up on my YT feed.
Oh and check this out: SRV and Jeff Beck in Honolulu at a private CBS convention. Beck plays a pink Jackson.

All eras of Beck are great. Hitting a few notes and someone knows who it is, that's the goal. Scott Henderson does a really good Beck-type thing, and a great player. Players like Beck and his generation that got that far just from playing/listening and not learning on Youtube, and all the current accessible materials, that's impressive. For example, John Bonham, basically living on a farm...and became, well John Bonham lol

Me and a buddy went to Fender clinic Greg did at a local music store years ago. I got a picture with him. He’s a big fella! Looking at the pic is like looking at a pic of Yogi Bear and Boo Boo. Lol

I've seen JB many times but the last time I saw him was the Les Paul tribute show with Imelda May and her band. It was up there with the best shows I've ever seen.
Mr Beck is possibly the worst dressed man in Rock -- NTTAWWT.

Mr Beck is possibly the worst dressed man in Rock -- NTTAWWT. He was probably heading directly back to his garage to finish an engine rebuild right after the gig: you don't want t'wear your best threads for that...

I saw Jeff years ago play the Tempe Blues Festival, which at the time was sponsored by Fender (got some pics of Jeff on stage). Way back when, I knew folks at Fender, and was invited to the show -- was provided with a front row seat. I've always said it was the second best show I ever saw -- and I've seen a lot of shows along the way. Best, if you care, was Bob Marley & The Wailers at Madison Square Garden.

The amp maker is no relation.

I’ve been obsessed with The Yardbirds version of Train Kept A Rollin for over 40 years now, but only recently tried attempting a note for note analysis of the guitar solos.
What’s become apparent to me however is the literally screaming guitar tone Beck is getting. I’m pretty sure it’s the ‘octave up’ characteristic of the early fuzz pedals using germanium transistors. Beck’s possibly using one of the earliest ‘handmade in a wooden box’ Tone Benders. Has anyone come across ‘currently available for less than a king’s ransom’ pedal that produces a similar overdrive + octave effect?

I love UFO’s version of that song as well.
