Many more high end basses than I've ever seen at once. I got to play several and was particularly impressed with the B on a 32" scale Spector Bantam 5. I had a Rebop several years ago but never bonded with the neck. The Bantam felt great.

I was there only once, in summer 2005 (although I have bought from them over the phone, since). That one time was great as I got to play a lot of basses I would never find in my neck of the forest.
I hope you bought something from them while there; I bought a 2005 NAMM Show Rick Turner RB4-FL while there and had them ship it up to me.

I hope you bought something from them while there; No, I didn’t. He showed me the Bantam 5 after I mentioned that I currently only play medium scales. It’s intriguing, but I can’t buy one without selling some gear to raise the money.

I stopped by Bass Central a while back. They had a bass with a bunch of signatures on it. I figured I’d show them the home made bass that I had signed, by nearly every one attending Victor Wootens Bass and Nature camp, including Victor’s wife and all the staff. The guy at the shop asked me if I had it verified, I told him yeah, I was standing there while they signed it. He said it had to be verified or it’s worthless. “Not to Me” people are strange.

... exactly the kind of staff that can take all the fun out of going shopping. 😏
