I enjoy the Ringo’s all star bands. My favorite, that I’ve seen, was Steve Lukather, the sax dude from Billy Joel’s band, Richard Page and Todd Rundgren, etc… and Greg Bissonnette. That said, I’ve enjoyed most all of them.

I've seen his show a few times, and every one was superb. I don't have a favorite!

Look on YouTube for the live cut with Gary Wright, "My Love Is Alive." It's great

I've never heard Gary Wright with Ringo. Very good! I did manage to see Gary Wright live though ... back in the 70s I always enjoy the Ringo shows I catch online. Never been to any of them live.

I saw the third version of the All Starr band with Ringo, Randy Bachman, Mark Farner, Billy Preston, Felix Cavaliere, and John Entwistle on stage along with Ringo’s son, Zak. The only thing that was’t too enjoyable in the show was Ringo yelling “what’s my name” after every other song. We had a bunch of adolescent girls behind us that, with their shrill little voices, just had to yell out the answer to his question each time he asked it. It got to be a bit overdone after a bit.

Look on YouTube for the live cut with Gary Wright, "My Love Is Alive." It's great Great clip! I saw Wright around '76 with Frampton. Great show! I noticed the red DR Z Maz 18 onstage. I have that same amp.

When the Beatles broke my first thought was..what in the heck is Ringo going to do? After the others launched albums I was happy to see he moved right along extending his career as a solo act and then on to forming all star bands touring. Go for it Ringo! Its worked out nicely.

^ Not to mention his acting career. He should've won an Oscar for playing Atouk in Caveman.
