Had no idea that "popping a wheelie" on a motorcycle in Florida can turn into a felony. First offense, $1,000. Second is $2,500. Third offense, a felony charge, fine of $5,000 and loss of license for up to 10 years. Doesn't have to be witnessed by an officer in real time, it can be caught on a traffic camera and still be prosecuted. Also in Florida: men cannot wear strapless dresses, and in case you were wondering, yes, in Tampa it's still illegal to eat cottage cheese after 6:00 pm on Sundays. www.mallardperez.com/blog/unusual-laws-in-florida.cfm#:~:text=According%20to%20Florida%20law%2C%20rats,while%20driving%20across%20a%20bridge.

I grew up in Florida. "According to Florida law, rats are forbidden to leave the ships docked in Tampa Bay." That's innacurate. The justice system cannot compel a rat to comply with any law. Rather, if a rat disembarks a vessel, a ship's master can be fined. Unless, of course, the law is written in a figurative manner of speaking.

I like that Florida wheelie law.
I was almost broadsided by an idiot coming at me doing a wheelie on a city street. I pulled out from the intersection by my home and never saw him because the bottom of his bike blended into the background.
The street I live on has turned into a major dragstrip so the police have started patrolling it rather heavily and seem to ticket someone almost daily now.

So a wheelie in a strapless dress after 6 PM on a Sunday while eating cottage cheese and you will never see the light of day.

"Also in Florida: men cannot wear strapless dresses"
Not even in the Keys?
Somebody'd better tell them...

Meanwhile in Santa Monica there is a glare ordinance regulating the amount of glare a sign can produce.

"You have been charged with glaring with intent to momentarily blind: how do you plead?"
Is "brandishing a sign" also listed in the criminal code?

Sadly the would be Oceans 3 had to grab their hammers and run for their lives yelling as the ran from the scene... you will hear from our attorney you mother f.....
