This breaks my heart. He was one of my favorite drummers. I thought he hadn't looked very healthy for the last few years.

This breaks my heart. He was one of my favorite drummers. I thought he hadn't looked very healthy for the last few years. While I can not name them, I do believe he had some health problems in the last 5 or so years to the point where he could not play drums full time in Yes. I am also bummed to hear about this. He may not have been Bill Bruford, but he was most excellent on those drums in his own right. The Gates of Delirium was played in this house today. What an excellent player that rock music lost.

I actually liked his style more than I did Bruford's. Alan was a lot more powerful.

Buford was gone by the time I started going to their concerts. White was good, though they could get by w another drummer. But when Chris Squire passed the band did imo
