Yea. I didn't stop to hesitate.
Given how oddball the thing is, and nobody's cloned it that I'm aware of ...yea, not saying no.

I’ve had a Bogner Ecstasy Blue for a few years. It’s not currently on my board, but it’s definitely worth $129.

Thanks for the heads up! I just bought the Ecstacy Blue. The Ubershall is very tempting but I’d get more use out of the Ecstacy.
I’ve got a Tumnus that I can easily offload to pay for this. I’ve got a Chinese Klone that can scratch that itch anyway.

They have the Blue and the Ubershall left. Reds are gone.

Got sucked in and bought the Ecstasy pedal! I have been just quietly sitting here reading all the topics and am always looking for that thing that will help with either my rig or repair tips and have boughten a lot of tools to help me work on my guitars and amps, but now I'm building up my recording gear and you guys keep throwing stuff in the mix and I'm getting 'No Where' but in debt!! Shame on all of you! Can't wait to try this pedal out because I'm a definite fan of Bogner amps and their Synergy gear. Well, a Synergy rig would be nice but adding this pedal to my board will be a benefit. I hope it adds something that I don't have already as I have watched and listened to everyone that owns this pedal, in the past, and hope that the new version brings some of that Bogner goodness to my setup. Now that was a really good deal and could not pass it up! Oh yeah, I'm still blaming all you 'Pedal Wh@&$$'... Thanks for sharing...

Well, I got the Ecstasy Blue and it is going back unfortunately. Maybe mine is defective. Anyway, the boost is way too boosty. Even with the boost volume/gain controls set near minimum, the jump in volume is way excessive and unusable for me. Darn.

...... now I'm building up my recording gear and you guys keep throwing stuff in the mix and I'm getting 'No Where' but in debt!! Shame on all of you! Pedals are cheaper than most high quality recording gear. Even the consumer level stuff. If you want to spend some serious money look me up and I'll make some suggestions for how to blow a lot of money quickly on recording gear.

Hey Ninworks, I've been following your recording notes and I know how intricate your gear is and from your experience, how much you have invested in it and also your knowledge on recording has grown. For now, I have some good ideas and have acquired some equipment to help me get my ideas out. But I did follow your suggestion on how to hook up my keyboard to my interface and computer. Very good info! For now, I'm just adding to guitar gear and having fun. But Thanks for the offer and I will always keep you in mind!

Got my Blue the other day. It has officially displaced my longstanding Keeley Super Phat Mod on my pedal board. Although they're different animals this Bogner pedal is as indredibly amp-like and touch sensitive as I've read about. The normal channel is a great "barely there" overdrive that really wakes up a clean amp. The boost gives it a really classic Marshall sound through my Tone Master Deluxe Reverb. It took me a while to get used to it. Initially I thought it didn't have enough oomph, but it's just because it's such a dynamic pedal. It also does not make everything you play through it sound the same. I've only played my Strat, Tele, and PRS through it but they all retained their own character. I don't think my wife would say it's "cute" like some of my other pedals, but that's neither here nor there.

I have a two button Ecstasy Red pedal. I’m not sure if Bogner makes them anymore. I liked using it in front of my PRS 2 channel “C” amp and in front of my Blues Jr. It took time to dial in the right sound with all the voicing switches. One thing for sure, I disliked the variac switch so I always kept it off - it just made the tone flubby to my ears. Taking it out of my drawer, I had the mode on tight, pre eq on b2 and structure on 100. As I recall the middle control was pretty finicky and I kept it just at noon or a little less. I liked that I could turn up the volume and gain when the boost was engaged. Great pedal with single or 2 channel tube amps. My SS Katana Mk II sounds (and feels) horrible with it. And since I now have a Boogie Triple Crown 50, there’s really no need for it on my board.
Almost forgot: watch the amazing light show when you unplug the power from the Ecstasy pedal. The Blue and Uberschall probably do the same thing. 😉

Yea, the light show on power-down exists on the Ubershall.
Got mine the other day, been messing about with it.
My original happy accident remains the favorite sound I've gotten out of it - I put it in the chain after the Klon(e) and a HM-2.
Inadvertently the HM-2 was on when I plugged in the Ubershall.
It was absolutely amazing, dripping harmonics, punch *and* bass the HM-2 normally lacks.
I like the thing on its own, but pushed by a Klon(e) or the HM-2, it's one hell of a ride.
It *is* lower gain that I had thought initially (reviews had warned about that) but it has a very effective EQ section and is very, very amp-like.
Definitely worth the asking price.

I ordered the Blue this morning. After watching the demo video I couldn't *not* order one. 😜
I held off on the Ubershall. I watched that video again, but I just couldn't get $129-smitten with one.

The Ubershall is really something that isn't demoable right - it's VERY setting dependent and reacts VERY differently with other things pushing it.
In that, the weird "five Class A amps inside" topography is where the magic happens.

And like I needed it, they got in more of the Ecstasy Blues at $129....one incoming too.

Pleased with the Ecstasy as well - it's defined and higher gain than the Ubershall, and in the 'unlikely uses" sounds amazing into a cranked tweed monster.
It's verge of meltdown/feedback and controllable once you learn where the horns are.
