I cancelled recently, but happened to turn on one of their channels in the car and it's working again, temporarily anyway. Thought I'd spread the word to others that have cancelled but still have access to it. thru June 6th

I know a guy who bought a used truck that had SiriusXM in the truck when he got it and still had it when the truck was totaled 4 years later and he never paid for it. When I had it they would turn it off occasionally and I would have to spend an inordinate amount of time with customer support getting it turned on again. Yes the bill was always paid. It was on autopay.

I got 6 months free with my Jeep and then told them I did not want to renew. Kept it 3 years. I don’t miss it.

Had to chuckle the first time I visited this thread as I was reminded of the "Free Trial" of SiriusXM that certain auto brands are offering with a new car purchase ... that is until I saw, on the SiriusXM site ... "Choose a plan and get your first 3 months of SiriusXM for $1". Not costing the car manufacturers a whole lot to make this "special offer", eh?

i had sirius for a while... but i stream from my phone. the subscription came with the suv... as i remember, it was somewhat difficult to convince them i didn't want their subscription and i would not pay a bill if i received one. my wife plays the game though. she'll call and negotiate fees for her vehicle.

I am on a trial now myself- my thing with SXM is their playlist is pretty short- same songs over and over just like FM. If you get the app you can get over to some of the deeper dive stations and it’s not so bad.

Well, for some reason, it is still working today. It was supposed to be through June 6th from what I read online.

I've had a sub since the early 2000s -- when it was just XM before the merger with Sirius. When I was commuting 130 miles a day -- that's over three hours in Boston traffic -- it was a sanity saver.
There is still enough variety on the platform that I still find stuff to listen to.

I keep it for the Phish channel. It drives my family crazy on long trips, but I enjoy the 30 minute jams!

I like SiriusXM for all the side deals. I listen to a lot of commercial free music on my Echo device such as instrumental surf music, piano instrumentals, 60s Gold Just Music. I tend to move around the channels and often find some really good music from artists I've heard about but didn't know.

I had a subscription many years ago. I bought a used car and it had it and stayed for about three years. I guess some poor schmuck finally figured out he had it on auto pay and abruptly cancelled it. We have Amazon Prime so I listen to music, podcasts and audio books through that now days.

I purchased a new Corvette in March and got one year free of XM with the buy. I’ve had BB King’s Bluesville on as a listen since that purchase. Then we purchased a new Cadillac this week and got another free access for a few months. I plugged my iPod in on the Caddy system (85 albums I’ve copied) and think my music sounds better so XM is being ignored in that vehicle. The Vette is spending a lot of time in the garage (until spring showers end) but I anticipate a thumb drive or iPod will be supplying the tunes in that vehicle too. XM just doesn’t seem to have the fidelity that comes with the music I supply.
