Just got this box and I am very impressed. It's a plug in and play amp in a box. Very easy to dial in a great sound, clean to overdriven. It gives you a few options but doesn't overwhelm you with choices. A couple of different speaker choices and a couple of different standard mods. Easy on the brain.
I've been using GarageBand amps, my old Line 6 POD, a Morley JD 10 and a Sans Amp GT2 for plug-ins for recording when I am not able to mic an amp in my studio. They're all okay but I'm never really that inspired while using them. Too much work finding a real good tone. With The Dream you can find an outstanding tone in seconds, just like a real killer amp. I use a Carr Rambler, modded Deluxe Reverb, at home in my studio and so far the Dream can go neck in neck with it. The Dream will be outstanding for the times I can't turn up an amp or have limited time to get something done on a project.
Just a heads up to people like me that don't like twiddling dials dial and want to spend their precious time playing and creating music. UA makes pedals that do the VOX AC 30 and Fender Tweed Deluxe sounds too if that's your bag. Rumor has that a Marshall box will be coming down the road.

If I needed tweed in a pedal, I'd go for it, but I am VERY happy with the Eleven Rack faux tweed - it's accurate to a point I was able to take old tracking notes and recreate 99%+ or more in it down to the dial settings.
May still have to check one out though!

Eleven Rack pedal looks pretty cool. I'd like to check one out.
Past the honeymoon stage on my Dream and I'm still very impressed. Put my pedalboard in front of it like I would with a real Deluxe Reverb amp and listened through studio monitors for first time yesterday. Incredibly close to the real deal and easy to dial in a great tone, just like a great tube amp. Scary. Don't feel like I need to be constantly twiddling dials like all of the other amp sims I've used just to find a tone that I'll settle on. Very inspiring to play through.

That's what matters.
Eleven Rack has bene a terrible thing in getting me to spend money - I got an absolutely killer Plexi sound out of it, and fell down the marshall rabbit hole.
I would HATE to have one as my only amp, but...with my usual 6L6 Fender clean in stereo or more, it's glorious.
That led me to buying an actual Marshall, etc.

The pedal looks and sounds great in the Sweetwater video I watched. I wouldn't mind having one at all. if I hadn't recently purchased the Boss IR-200, for the same price, I'd probably spring for one.
I think the '65 Reverb pedal probably sounds better, but isn't as versatile. Since I'm mostly using the Boss in a live band setting, I'm pretty happy with it. If I was doing a lot of recording, I'd probably rather have the '65 Reverb pedal.
Thanks for the heads up herb! It's nice to know there are other great sounding pedals out there like this one.
