I recently posted about my backup amp The Rumble 800. I thought I would post a comparison of the two amps I own. Since November of 2021 having bought a TT-800 I pretty much put the Rumble 800 in it's carry bag not to be seen until a few days ago. I pulled it out to see how it did with a new cab I have and found it was easy to setup and get a decent tone from it. Has a lot of useful settings which for the purposes of this I will not go into but suffice to say if you want an easy to use amp that does a decent job this might be for you. Since I posted about the Rumble 800 I was testing 2 pieces of gear out. One of them was a new Jazz Bass. It sounded very nice here so then I thought I would compare it to the TT-800. This is not even a fair Competition as the TT-800 passed it up pretty handedly in the tone department. The total tone just had a harmonic sweetness the Rumble 800 could not duplicate. I am happy with both amps and they will not be going anywhere, that is unless I find another amp to take the place of the Rumble 800 as a backup but not looking. Is the TT-800 for everyone, probably not but if you take the time to understand it and not be intimidated by it you just might discover one fine amp! imgur.com/a/nEcNbsi
