No, not Kaya King, kayaking! As in, in a kayak.
I went for the first time in about a year this morning. Mine is set up for fishing, and this is the first time I've used it without any fishing involved. I went with my sister-in-law, who really loves the outdoors, and invited me and her brother to go. Her brother has said no several times, so she decided we were going without him. (That'll teach him!)
The place we went to actually has a ramp for kayak launching. You set the kayak on the ramp, sit down it, and then pull yourself into (or out of) the water using hand rails on each side. I had never seen this setup before, but it made getting into and out of the kayak so much easier! Especially at my age.
We kayaked to a waterfall, about 40 minutes away. Stayed there for awhile and then kayaked back. The weather was great because we got an early start; I wouldn't try it in the afternoon in GA.
I don't know how often we will get out, but we both enjoyed it and I hope it's not the last time. I left the kayak in the car, and I'm going fishing in it tomorrow morning. It's a little bit of a hassle getting it in and out of the garage.
So let us know if you have a kayak and have used it recently! How often do you get out?

I have a P&H Virgo sea kayak that is a great surf / big water boat. Lots of fun in big waves and rolls awesome. I teach Eskimo rolling. I also have 2 Eddyline Caribbean 12 sit on tops for my girlfriend and I to have fun with. I kayak and mountain bike quite a bit.
