my strat seems to buzz slighlty in the upper frets but does not frett out. If i ajust the truss rod for more bow will i resolve this or make it worse or would a shim in the neck pocket fix it. i really dont want to take it in for a level its not that worn thks

For the lowest action all along the fretboard, I suggest to tighten the truss rod slightly (less bow) and slightly raise the string height at the bridge.

For the lowest action all along the fretboard, I suggest to tighten the truss rod slightly (less box) and slightly raise the string height at the bridge. thks. That is the way it is now almost no relief and very low. It plays like a dream but slightly buzzes in the higher fretts on the E B G but does not frett out and raising the action does not seem to help. its mostly the E and B Its the 62 in my profile pic with large fretts

If you have a fret rocker I'd do some testing for high frets. My experience is they usually reside somewhere around the 17th fret area (where neck meets body).

For a guitar without any frt issues Wholenote said exactly what a professional tech would do to address what you described.
