It hard to say Ceder.
You are working with industry known top shelf gear, your tone should be "all that and a bag of chips"
IMHO I'd look three areas...
Your EQ setting... that would be ice pick ear piercing on my PR. IS that your amps EQ setting on both channels? if not then it could be a bad treble pot, the 250pf cap coming off the 7025 tube or something goofy like that.
Your speakers... Original Chicago Jensen or Original Oxfords form the same era are very rare... and finding some that sound good compared to modern speakers are extremely rare. So rare that I intuitively dismiss people when they say they know what original Jensen sound like. The obvious is run another cabinet...
Maybe a Tube... Maybe ya got a bad tube that still works but its void of life... a "Sterile Darrel" as a like to call them. Or the guitar + pedal rig + amp + Your ears is calling for a short plate or vice a versa " Roll some tubes in V1 and V2 but don't dismiss phase inverter !!!! you have brought up sustain in previous posts... the phase inverter IMO effects the amps sustain more than any other tube in the amp.
Hopefully that amp isn't going to be one of those amp's that never sound right ... I have had some over the years...
