Being distributed via Eastman who, I would argue, are making some of the most interesting guitars in recent times. eastwoodguitars.com/products/rivolta-regata-viiNot exactly cheap, but I'd buy one if I were in the market. Hmm, maybe I'll hafta see if I can unload some stuff so I can be in the market...

Minor complaint....Why is it called a VII, if it's not a 7 string?

The aesthetics of the design are really nice...except for that bat-wing finger plate.
It looks like an afterthought on an otherwise streamlined, elegant guitar with nice curves. It looks like something someone retrofitted after buying the guitar; it looks out of place.

Many of the Fano-designed guitars have stupid pickguard cuts like that, so it's probably to remind people of that. Or make it look like a cheap import, which is what it says to me.

Are you confusing Eastman and Eastwood?
It looks interesting, but comparisons to a 335 seem hasty. A 335 is mostly maple with some spruce in there, this has a lot of mahogany, though the back looks maple to me... so I'm not sure what is going on there. I'd certainly want to at least hear one. I've found it really hard to predict how semi-hollows are going to sound based on specs alone.

Perhaps paint them purple. Also, dress like Adam West.

The batwing pickguard screams cheap import to me, all the Fano designs do (even though I know they're not).

Well, I was confusing Eastman and Eastwood anyway. Eastwood does have some interesting stuff but Eastman is more innovative IMO.

Eastwood also is, generally-speaking, a more budget-conscious line.

Yea, they're not exactly high end stuff.

Nice lines, although 6-on-a-side always looks out of plate to my on an archtop. That's just me.

The body reminds me of the Ibanez Lee Ritenour signature I used to own but sold to an FDPer.
