Old Hammond organs and tube-amped Leslies are another one of my favorites. Hot tubes and Hammond oil.......AHHHHHHHH!!

Reminds me of the smell of old-school TV repair shops.

I remember the smell of a new amp in the old days: About 1965 I got a new Vibro Champ, and on a warm day my bedroom smelled sort of like grass (the lawn kind) - it was the grill cloth.

Yup. The smell of hot tubes.
As a kid I'd walk into the Lafayette Radio Electronics store just to enjoy the aroma of the tube-driven amateur radio transmitters and receivers glowing and crackling on the shelves.

hmm, i bought a used Gibson Custom 137 that STUNK due to cigarette smoke. I mean it smelled like old Campbell's Tomato Soup or something. I needed to keep vanilla air fresheners and a box of baking soda in the case for a few months. Now ok, and the guitar is amazing
