I like it.
Making original and attractive designs on guitars is harder than it looks. Trying to imagine what it would look like with contrasting colors... that might be a bit much, but black on black it is nice.

I think a pick guard like that might work really well on a P Bass.

The neck pickup is out of place - needs to have a smaller route or be back-loaded or something.
The cut around the cavity is also jarring.
