I found a "mint" American Vintage II '57 Series Strat on Reverb (from a dealer) in Sea Foam green. It was less than a new American Pro II.
Beauty. Now I have a question, which is both honest and dumb: Are cases left-handed?

Generally speaking - no. There have been some in the past.

A good tech can fix the issue of that entire guitar being 180 degrees out of phase.

I did a thing…
I figured I would pull the pickguard and back cover with the protective plastic on both. Real Fender replacements are cheap. Then I could restore the originals when it comes time to sell - hopefully before I die.
Well… I talked myself right past the plain Jane replacements. 😂

Nice! yeah, always good to quick revert. I sometimes pull the whole guard, pickups and all. That looks really cool

pull the pickguard and back cover with the protective plastic on both I was told (by somebody I believe knowledgeable) that over time the adhesive on the protective sheet can get pretty well stuck to its protectee. Maybe better to remove the stuff and keep the parts in a plain envelope or something.

I've bought some pretty old guitars (10-ish years) and the protective film was still on the plastics. It came off fine.

I bought a 1987 Fender acoustic with the plastic still on it. It came off fine.
