Watching That Pedal Show off and on I always liked how the pedals seemed to sound better to my ears especially when used together. So, I just ordered the QMX-8 system. I don't need the G3 system! I was considering the Boss ES 8 switching system years ago and thought it was a bit too much money at the time. Definitely liked the tones though!
As much as I like my Helix (with FRFR amps) and other amps just plugged strait in, I was too curious to pass this up!
I guess I'll always be a pedal junkie to some extent LOL!

I've been VERY happy with my ES-8 - I was a day one adopter of the thing, as soon as it was announced I ordered it.
It's made things possible that frankly aren't without - the parallel routing and LFO expression out are worth the price of admission!

reverendrob-I do remember you buying and liking the ES-8 System!
Got the QMX-8 a few days ago and didn't realize it needed a PS so I bought one today. Yeah, I should have known that!!! They say it requires 50mA for each pedal and their is 8 pedals (that can be used) so, 400 mA for power. I got one that does 500mA.
They wanted quite a bit more coin for the one that's their own PS. I'm thinking I'll need to get it as I'm not happy with the hum. If I can get rid of the hum I believe it will be pure frickin magic!
Definitely a work in progress.
For any work I do right now with band guys I'm using the Helix or just a few pedals and A/Bing amps.
I do like it!

Not coming with a PSU sucks in that price range, honestly.
It's the one thing I love on the Boss, it eats a One-Spot and doesn't care.
It came with its own but I don't want to waste an outlet, and didn't have to.
Threw the 250ma PSU it came with in the pile of extras.
