They showed up in an ad and looked interesting. Curious if anyone here has tried them and has any feedback on playability, fit/finish, pickups, tone, etc. The company in question...

I saw a used one at GC one time. The employee was talking out his ass about the (friction reducing) neck, and obviously had no idea what he was holding in his hands.
They're WAY too spendy for me.

They have some lefties, and they're purty, but they're too blingy for my tastes.

I had a DBZ model a few years ago. They were a more budget-friendly line and something different. All in all a nice guitar for the price.
This new lineup looks pretty sweet.

Wow, interesting… Seems Dean has taken a new direction into the handcrafted route. I’m thinking Suhr. I always associated Dean with Dimebag Darrell’s ML model.

Does Dean Z. still have a hand in Dean guitars?

Wow, interesting… Seems Dean has taken a new direction into the handcrafted route. I’m thinking Suhr. I always associated Dean with Dimebag Darrell’s ML model. Dean Zelinsky sold the Dean guitar co. in the 80s. The guitars he makes under the Dean Zelinsky brand have nothing to do with the current Dean company.
