Last night we went to see Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives at Wolf Trap in Virginia. Fab is the word. Amazing guitar playing, great show, and the sound couldn't be any better! Recommend y'all try to see them if you can. Full Fender backing, Teles (including the first B bender made for Clarence White), Deluxe Reverbs and Bassman.

I'll probably never get to see them play live but I have watched everything that's available on YouTube. They are superlative.

They played for 1.5 hours. 10 seconds between songs.

Here's an episode of his TV show, with Merle. They played Mama Tried last night.

If you haven’t seen them live, get it done. Marty and the Superlatives are a must see show!

In addition to his Tele and Martin, Kenny played his Ricky 12-string and Marty played a Jerry Jones electric sitar. It fit the moody song well. Don't see that much.

Marty and his band are a national treasure; they're carrying the torch that most all other so-called country acts have abandoned.
MONSTER players, all.

They are the real deal.
About 80% of the other so-called "country" artists could take a lesson.

These guys are the heart and soul of real country music. I had the good luck to see them live awhile back. As has been said before they are top shelf.

The entire band is outstanding, but just Marty with a Mando can be pretty amazing. We've caught them a few times, always great.
