As a retired guy, I generally favor T shirts for my everyday wear. Most of them are dark or even black, but I do have a few white ones, featuring various logos. Now, I've never been in touch with the fashion side of what-to-wear, so I was surprised when I came across this admonition in a newspaper article this morning:
"If various corners of the internet are to be believed, you should be wearing a red bra under your white shirts. That’s right, red." Well, this was news to me. I checked the title of the piece against what I had just read: "The Internet Says a Red Bra Will Disappear Under a White Tee. Not Necessarily."
Now I was really puzzled. What's the point of a guy wearing a bra under a T in the first place, if it just disappears?
It got worse the further I read into the article: "Of course, the ideal (and age-old) solution for making your bra undetectable is to get one in a nude tone that exactly matches your skin—but that can be challenging."
Okay, that's it. I'm done. I am NOT going to invest in a bunch of red bras to wear on the bandstand, only to be ridiculed for not selecting the nude tone. I'm a bass player. I have a reputation to uphold. I'm going braless.
