What is the largest amount of cash money you have seen in one pile at one time?
Not talking about your own money just the largest amount right there in front of your eyes.
I mentioned in the other tread that I knew what several million looked like.
Today my trainee was pretty surprised to be looking at somewhere between 7 and 8 million sitting on the counter in front of him less than ten feet away.

900 million give or take it was in the early 90's when I worked for an armored car company.
Drove to the @@@@@@ the money was loaded into the car along with a person whose job is to travel with the money. We didn't know how much until it was being loaded. 1 or 200 bails of hundred dollar bills.
Unloading was not fun. We unloaded into wheeled totes then was buzzed into the federal reserve bank where we pushed the totes into a secured area. It was quite the workout. I did this one day every week.
The money that got you and yer partner to discuss what if's where when we brought bills back to be destroyed.

Never seen more than a couple hundred thousand in cash. But I did have to take a $20 million check to the bank for work once, and while it really didn’t look bigger than a regular check (anything above a million should have to be one of those giant Publisher’s Clearing House checks), but it was pretty surreal.

I've seen a couple thousand, but that's about it. I really don't deal with cash very often.

I've seen a couple thousand, but that's about it. I really don't deal with cash very often. I'm sure for most of us any "huge" amounts of cash in our presence would be a result of our employment. I worked in Nationally known retail stores for the first 20 years of my work life. I counted large amounts of cash daily. Now, working in Casinos, those "large" amounts of cash I dealt with daily in retail stores is miniscule in comparison. Fortunately I never have to touch or count any money now. Edited to add: For anyone wondering. The way money is "packed" ... For instance, one-hundred dollar bills. A bagged bundle is about 12.5" wide, about 16" long and 2.75" high. That bag is $300,000.00. Three of those stacked is (of course) $900,000.00. So a stack about 12.5" X 16" X 8.5" tall is very nearly a million dollars.

The most I have ever seen was about $25k. I was working for a swimming pool contractor and a customer dropped off a cash payment at the office.
