So you can play it while sitting. But you’re right, they left a lot of horn. I rethought the lower horn on the body I just cut. Actually, the horn is even shorter now than it is in the picture.

So you can play it while sitting. There we go. That makes sense. After cutting it to where there is no wood around the bridge, I'm just thinking they were prepared to eliminate as much as possible. BTW Leftee, that's a pretty cool take on a Tele body.

Thanks! The upper horn is between the Tele forehead and a Strat horn. The rest… well.

Upper horn and the middle of that notch. The notch is slightly deeper than the strap button. So one can stand the guitar up/lean it against an amp and it won’t teeter on the strap button.
