I purchased an MXR Clone Looper and a Tone City Angel Wing Chorus. I like both. They are both built like a tank. The Clone Looper works well at the beginning of the chain but a little weird if at the back end as it makes some weird background noises. Other than that it is simple to use and records the guitar faithfully and really quiet. I use a Roland Expression pedal connected to the Looper to control play back volume. The Chorus Pedal (At least for me) is better than the Boss CE-5 I had and half the cost (with 2 year warranty). I wanted it to simulate a 12 string guitar sound and it really does that well with all knobs set to 12 o’clock position. I don’t care for “over baked” Chorus sounds so I am very happy so far.

The CE-5 is one of the few relative stinkers in the Boss Chorus line historically - I love the majority of their stuff, but it doesn't cut it in the slightest.
I gave mine away.
I'm classic in that regard - using a DC-2W (in the SDD-320 mode, and have a rackmount SDD-320 clone too!) and a CE-2W in CE-1 mode (because, well, Jaxz Chorus without the hum and 50 years of circuit drift!).

I had a Roland Jazz Chorus 90. The Chorus was the only good part of it. That particular model used speakers that were Crappy and different that most all others ( those that were decent were 40, 60, 120)

Yea, I requite the proper 12" speakers in a JC.
The 50/55/60 did the trick at much lower weight!
Was still a brick.
My old one I donated to a friend in need who always wanted one.

Yea, I had a 50 for ages, it served me well.
Had a 55 that blew up at one point and is probably still trucking as an extension cab somewhere!
