What a great guitar for the price. I’ve been looking for an acoustic-electric that I can grab and take to jams or travel with. I checked online and this concert-sized Yamaha came up. Sounds and plays great, and workmanship is good as far as I can tell. Solid spruce top Nato back and sides Urea nut and bridge saddle - no issues that I can tell Pretty good electronics - sounds better than my Taylor plugged in Just a few downsides: No case-I bought a Gator soft case for it. No strap button up front-I bought a brass strap button but I’m debating whether to install it. The guitar plays nicely above the 12th fret. Nice looking guitar. Yamaha offers a good product ant a reasonable price, I think you'll get a lot of enjoyment from this guitar.

Yamaha’s are great guitars. I love mine. It sat in the case for several months and I finally pulled it out and played it a few days ago. I fell in love all over again.

I have a Yamaha FGX5 and it is the best acoustic I've played. Torrified, bone, scalloped, ebony. Better than my D-41 which I sold. 'Course I like hog guitars better than rosewood.

Yamaha is VERY hard to beat in certain price points. Not sure how expensive you have to get for other options to be appealing... $800? $1k? At that point you get some of the really cheap all solid Chinese guitars, but many come set up terribly, sometimes where the stock nut & saddle aren't even usable.

The Yamaha acoustic I bought came in two versions, one made in China and the other made in the Japanese custom shop. The Jap one was almost twice the cost and is what I got. Fab and came with the nicest case I've seen.
I have a Fender Cabronita Tele that I'm not crazy about (anyway have two other Teles). Gonna sell it and get a Yamaha Revstar standard with p90s (Indonesia I think-$879). The Jap version is about $2100. I think this time I'll get the cheaper one!
