I wanted a guitar that I could just pick up and play when the mood or an inspiration struck. Especially at night while relaxing doing what ever. So, I got one of these: Some people settle for a parlor guitar for this. I decided on a classic type. It's a Cordoba Fusion Nylon Electric/Acoustic. Supposedly, designed more for the electric guitar player. It has a narrower neck than a regular classical and for me, it does play pretty nice. It was under a grand and it really looks very nice. They do pretty good imitating aesthetic design these days. It has a very nice flamed maple body and sides. The sound hole 'inlay' is a pretty good imitation 'decal'. I've never owned a classical guitar and have been thinking about getting one for too long. I think this one will do.

Surely looks nice ... especially from the back I have 6 hanging on walls around here, there is always something easy to get ahold of for me. Edited to add: Plus 5 sitting out on stands.

Nice.
I have a stupid amount of electrics but only 2 acoustics, a small "parlor" and big Martin D17M. But no classical, no 12 string acoustic. A classical/nylon string acoustic has been on my mind as of late. Based on my favorable experience with the small Yamaha parlor I may eventually look at their line of inexpensive classicals.

This is really a pretty nice classical. I pondered getting one for a long time. I looked at many of them on the Sweetwater site and thought I'd end up with the Taylor in the same price range but, there was something about this one that led me to get it. It also had to have the ability to be 'plugged in' so, it also has Fishman electronics that's a pretty nice addition...w/tuner. There appears to be many good choices for these guitars in this price range. Did I mention that this guitar weighs nothing? I, also, am surrounded by guitars and have more than my share of many types electric and acoustic plus a coupe of bass's. 6 and 12 stringers and a 5 string bass. No 7 strings...hmmm?

That’s a nice classical. The back is beautiful. I still have my old Alvarez Yairi from college days. This makes me want to get her out and restring her.

I have a *very* stupid amount of electrics, and 3 acoustics. One is a Dean that's quite "meh" but I've played the boogers out of it. One is a Recording King 0000 which is better than it has a right to be. It also has a baseball-bat for a neck. Then there's my Taylor GT which is top dog.

I have never seen a bridge like that before. It has a beautiful back. I once had an Alvarez Yari in mid 80’s. I accidentally cracked the top. It was hairline and did not effect the sound but it bugged me and I sold it to a co-worker. Wish I had been able to have it repaired.
