I sold one of my 3 Bass Amp Heads( Fender Rumble 800HD) and bought a Boss Singer Pro Amp. So far I like it. My only complaint is why did the make Reverb and Chorus only for Guitar Section and Delay/ Echo only for the Mic section. I am not a singer and know I could play my guitar through the mic channel but would have been nice to have all features for both channels but I can see how they wanted separate features for singer and guitar. Love the capabilities it has. It comes wit a 2 button Foot switch for Looper Record and stop. I had a GA-FX multi button Foot Pedal that I previously used on the Boss Katana Artist Amp I had one and a new set of button lables came with the amp for correct lables for the GA-FX pedal. Glad I kept it.

Added comments: I probably could have just used my Fender Twin Tone Master amp. This amp is Small and hardly takes any space up and rated at 120Watts (RMS). Weird thing is at 31lbs its weight is almost identical. It does have a few features that I like with Phase, Notch filters and foot pedal control (record & Stop) of its built in Looper, reverb, Echo/Delay, and Chorus. Has 2 different Chorus’s I have a looper on pedal board for The Fender Amp but this one is pristine sounding and very quiet in the background. Plus the looper pedal used with the Fender has to be put first or the other pedals make it have a weird warbly sound in the background when using it with them which means I cant use one effect then none or something else to go along with it.

I shouldn’t have bought this amp. Just got stuff paid off and even sold some stuff to help pay for the Boss Acoustic Amp. Tonight I decided after playing through it using it’s looper. While it sounded good you get a definite “clunk” at the end of the loop. I then played through the Fender Amp with the foot pedal looper used with it. That pedal is much more controllable without the clunk. My only thing with it so far is where I had the Looper Pedal at the end of the chain with the other pedals in front and trying to do a loop with one effect and then using other effects for another guitar is it caused a warbly sound in background. I ended up putting the Looper Pedal at the front of the chain. Sounds great but it doesn’t record the effects. The effects have to be on so the signal then goes through them. Therefore I can’t choose an effect for one segment and another effect for the next one etc. Now it does make the Acoustic guitar sound a little better but not enough to want it. With this and the fact I have TOO MANY THINGS, I am going to send it back. I just need to love what I have and stop buying crap!

I’ve never owned an acoustic amp. I have acoustic guitars, but none of them have electronics. That’s been by design. I am never going to perform with an acoustic guitar, so I’ve stayed away from all that.
That way I can have too many electric guitars and amps. 😂

Sneaky, Leftee.
I have a Fishman acoustic amp and a Yamaha PA, with a few electro acoustic instruments. I have condenser mics and acoustic pickups too.
Would never use them at home.
Just to let my adoring public hear me when I’m out and about.

I started out on Guitar at age 12 in 1964 but didnt progress very far and in 1974 was asked to play bass in a progressive country band then quit all together to go to college then start a family and only found time when they were in and finishing highschool in 2001. I started try to play again but soon got the bass bug. Now Not playing in bands much these days I really want to get better on guitar as well. Probably more than anyone cares to read really but I thank you guys for responding.

I missed it... what are you plugging into it?
Acoustic guitar amps are mostly just mini-PAs. If you plug an electric guitar into it, there won't be any magic of getting a more acoustic-y sound out of a rig.
Most acoustic guys I know are using some sort of Bose system and are pretty happy with it, maybe supplementing with a pedal board.

If me then the Boss Acoustic amp sounded good but not that much different than played thru my Fender Twin Tone Master amp and it actually weighed about the same as the Tone Master Twin ( just smaller) and I really need to stop buying stuff so I sent it back. I mostly play bass and electric guitar anyway. Plus the Looper I am using with the Twin works better. You could hear the built in Boss looper click every time the loop started over.

I mean what guitar. Are you playing electric guitars through it? I was wanting to play Acoustic through the Boss Acoustic amp. I decided since I play electric guitar when not playing bass I would just use the Fender Twin Tone Master amp for electric guitar and acoustic electric guitar. It sounds good enough with Acoustic Electric guitar. Sorry it took me so long to answer. I had surgery to do a trial of a Medtronic Nerve Stimulator to hopefully block most of the back and hip pain.

Ah, okay. I misunderstood.
Every so often there is a player who doesn't quite grasp the difference and REALLY wants to play electric through an acoustic amp thinking it'll be more acoustic-y, and I wanted to be sure that wasn't what you were up to.
I know nothing about the surgery, but hopefully it went well. Is that the kind of thing where you can't stand too close to a microwave?

They put a Medtronic Nerve Stimulator on my back with wire probes going into my spine just above where the nerves start branching out to the various body parts as a trial. I had the trial device removed this morning. Best I have felt in 3 years or more. They have to let it heal and then appointment for August 29th to have the Medtronic Stimulator inserted under the skin in my back with the probes into the mid spine just above where the nerves start to branch out. If they get a cancellation before then they will call me. The high frequency electric signals programmed for specific nerves reaches the brain before the pain signal and scrambles it so brain can’t make sense of it. High tech weirdness, huh I saw the wires when they pulled them out. Each one has 8 metal rings 1/32” approx apart on the last 3 or so inches. They program which ones send signals and how much. The Medtronic technician said over time if pain moves to another area they re-program it to cover that area and how much of the signal it gets.

Knowing my luck, I'd get one and it would end up picking up FM radio stations.

Knowing my luck, I'd get one and it would end up picking up FM radio stations. Well it helped me in two different ways. It reduced back pain to near nil and for the first time in my life I have an electrifying personality 🤣
