So, I took a chance and bought 2 necks from TWT Guitars. They look great and are pretty dark. I've never had a roasted maple neck before and was wondering if they are dark? They have a satin finish and the price was really good! I paid $49.95 each. If you put a Fender decal on one of these, you would be hard pressed to deferentiat from the 'real deal', from what is being offered by Fender! These were shipped out of Texas and were bought on the 3rd of August. That is a great turn around time from my order date. I was on another forum and people had mentioned these folks and was a little concerned if they were the real deal, but I am happy to say that they arrived in great shape and the packaging was very good. So, for $103 and some change you can get a really decent necks. Just thought I would share my good fortune with the group. I will have to clean off the finish because it is sprayed on after they get done working on it, but some 0000 steel wool/micro polishing cloth and maybe a once over on the fret edges and then mount it, it should be good to go! Oh yeah, I have to prep the tuner for Fender tuners but I am truly stoked! Check it out, as they have some high quality necks also that will blow you away! Best regards, Woody

That price is pretty incredible. Are these Chinese made and tuned up for sale by US sellers?
How are the neck profiles (shape, carve, etc.)? I presume poly finished?
I have 2 roasted maple necks. One is really lightly roasted (Musikraft), the other an Allparts and pretty dark.

As far as I can tell, they are made in China and maybe warehoused here and then shipped, stateside. The equipment is Japanese and the woods are Canadian or if exotic, from the country they are sourced from. The website is: twtguitar.com. The finish is poly and they use nickel/silver fretwire, medium-jumbo. Neck profile is medium 'C'. They are expanding their products to include some bass necks soon, but for now, mostly guitar related pieces. Necks, bodies, and parts. Check it out, I like what I received and for the price, excellent! As with any thing you purchase, I expect to do some work to make it more comfortable and precise, but if you go into buying a neck, there is always some nuisances that will need addressing. It says that they put on bone nuts and will require some adjustments. I'm pretty stoked for the money spent! Check out the website and see for yourself. Woody

I’ve bought similar necks from sellers on Reverb. The frets level well and the nut is bone. All-in-all they set up well. I’ve built/sold some inexpensive guitars using them and the buyers have been happy.
