It's Wildcard weekend. Permit me to be the first to make an ass of myself.
Bills beat the Texans by 7.
Pats get by the Titans by 3.
I'd like to see the Vikings beat the Saints -- but they won't.
Eagles will give Seattle the beating they deserve.

I haven't been following football, just saw something on the local news about the Pats cheating again.

I was going to start a thread when I found this......Buffalo got screwed out of a touchdown!...the player is supposed to take a knee for the touchback and instead flipped the ball to the ref, who wisely let it fall to the ground...very heads up......and so to try to save face with the error, they said that he "gave hiimself up"...and one of the announcers said that "in this case common sense should prevail"..
I'm not a Bills fan by any means but this was just wrong!
Giving yourself up is something you do when your cornered by the cops....

Bills Texans was a good game
no way giving Bills a touchdown on that kickoff would have been the right call. It’s a meaningless “infraction.”
Pats Titans now, rooting Pats all the way and waiting for all the “but they cheat” tired bs from the “ring envious”
Betting Brady is on point and the defense will be stifling. Pats by 10.

well I have to disagree with you Steve...and after a brief search I can't find any definitive information about a touch back being, "just handing the ball to the ref"...
the whistle did not blow, and the ref would not take the ball from him....that's what made me question the play
The NFL is very stringent about rules as we all know....and to be truthful, I think there's just way to many......but in this instance I would like to see where in the rule book it says that what happened is acceptable.....
maybe it would have affected the game, and maybe it wouldn't
Still it was a good game.... I have a feeling that the Texans would make a come back...
and I'd also like to see the Pats win....cheaters?...Bah!

I wil say that awarding a touchdown to the Bills on that play would have made for a very interesting set of discussion had the Bills won.

I live in Steeler country so I'm rooting for the Titans. The NE dynasty has run it's coarse imho, We'll see. Also like Seahawks.

Henry looks tough, but Pats have the ball down one with 4:45 left
Does Tom have one more drive in him?
I think he does.

Wow. Didn't see that coming. Bye bye Brady. Vrabel is really good. I remember his rookie season with the Steelers. Cowher said he expressed a desire to be a coach back then. Great game btw!

Now it begins.
Will Tom stay or go, or retire?
Will he get help, a real replacement for Gronk, receivers who defenses have to think about, a line that can run and pass block?
It will be interesting...

I’m a long time Falcons season ticket holder, so I can’t abide the Saints winning anything. I guess Chiefs for me in the postseason.
Good games so far.

‘Twas a rainy night in Foxboro. The dynasty has ended. Inevitability has set in. I concede defeat.
All the best to the Titans.

The Saints were robbed last year, so I'd like to see them win.

"To request a fair catch, the receiver must raise one arm fully above their head and wave it from side to side while the ball is in flight. Once the signal is given, the kicking team may not interfere with the receiver's attempt to catch the ball." They reversed the call on a common sense ruling, since he had already waved off his blockers, signaling his intent to not run the return.

Two pretty dang exciting games yesterday. I was unfamiliar with Tennessee's ascension with that new QB.
Today I will root for the Saints and the Eagles, but I project the winners as Saints and Seahawks.

Well it appears father time caught up with Brady finally, but damn , what an impressive run. As a Dolphins fan , it was nice to see Tannehill get success . I always knew he was a very good QB.

These days I rarely get to sit and watch a complete game but I still follow it. Been a Steelers fan since I could throw a spiral. I missed a couple good games yesterday. I wish the Saints-Vikes game was the evening game as I'm busy again today. I'll be able to watch Seahawks-Eagles, but if I had my way they'd both lose.

Here's a tip. If you're going to be betting today, don't rely on my picks.
