Very sad. I caught a Rush documentary on Netflix recently. He came across as a very thoughtful and kind guy. He was featured riding his bike and taking time to reflect.
That’s another influential rock voice silenced. I must admit that I very often didn’t follow what he was on about in his lyrics.

much as I can't stand that band, I realize he was an excellent drummer and yes, way too young

No way! I'm totally shocked. I had no idea.
I was a massive Rush fan back in the day. I saw their 1st and 2nd UK tours and saw them last on their 35th (?) anniversary tour.
R.I.P.

May he Rest in Peace. He was THAT guy playing the drums at the Frank Erwin Center, when I took my two sons to see their first big-time concerts....Rush 2008 (oldest son) and 2011 (both sons.....and ol' lady).

A Farewell to the king of the beats. RIP Neil. RUSH is easily the one band I've had the longest love for.
