Watching After Life, series with Ricky Gervais. Kinda painful, kinda funny.

Final season (7) of "Bosch" now available free on Amazon.
We watched episode #1 last night and found it "up to the standard" set by previous seasons.

I watched some of season 1 a long time ago. Found it tedious and too much like any of a half dozen other "troubled" cop shows.
Some are saying the later seasons got better. Any advice on where to start?

Found it tedious and too much like any of a half dozen other "troubled" cop shows. I found it just the opposite. Yea, Bosch is a wild card detective but..... Anyway I like it due to the case not being solved each episode and the actors play the parts well. Each season has it's own extra drama, but I can overlook it and enjoy the show.

Just finished season 7 and enjoyed it. Apparently there’s a spin-off after this season.

i happen to rather enjoy cop shows, but I was not into Bosch at all. Watched the first season and left it there.

Watched the first season and left it there. It's definitely not an action series.

I really like Bosch . It took me a few episodes to warm up to it though. I’m still partial to Law and Order . Been enjoying Jack Ryan on Amazon as well.

There are plenty of cartoonish action shows. To me Bosch was a breath of fresh air.

The BBC 3 parter ‘Time’ is highly recommended, Sean Bean does a great job.

Has anyone mentioned The Chosen? It's very well done. The first season is on PeaChickentv.
EDIT: Yeesh! Stupid filters! Use your imagination for 'PeaChickentv'.

Bosch rules. No hugs svp. Other than that I found Lupin worth my while. After a false start 6 months ago when I didn't. Even more family friendly TWIMC.

Dubbed English dialogue is a deal breaker for us, it’s just too unnatural. It’s a somewhat of a problem with Netflix listings, which provide no warning of it.

Aw sorry man. Been/am watching with the original soundtrack. Maybe you'd make it happen w/engl. subtitles.. (?)

Amazon Prime (USA) is not big on first run films, but they dig out some classics that are always fun to see especially now in quality HD. Just added a couple of New York City 70's cops 'n' criminals flicks shot on location with those fine funky music scores, man I could watch them all day. Now streaming, the original (and far superior to the remakes) The Taking of Pelham One, Two, Three, with a great cast including Walter Matthau. Also streaming, Across 110th Street with Yaphet Kotto, Anthony Quinn and one of my favorite character actors Antonio Fargas!

There is no consistency to the way they list and/or present movies from other countries. Often there is no other choice but to hear dubbed in voices speaking English. Should always have the option to hear content with the original speaking voices of the actors along with subtitles.

Another one considered worthy despite the language barrier. Spanish w/subtitles. Sorry in advance. 😏

The Battle of Britain (1969) is on Prime USA. Real old school epic style war pic with a great cast. Restored to stunning picture quality in HD with full stereo sound and a dynamic music score.

Finished final episode of "Bosch" last night.
If the "spin off" being hinted at follows the trajectory of the books upon which the series was based, we haven't seen the last of Harry.
