My only mirrorless is the original Fujifilm X100. I still love it but use it as a walking around camera..
I’m someone who is averse to upgrades if the cameras still work and provide acceptable results.
Still using a D3 and a D7100. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it it.
I have invested money in glass that works very well with the DSLRs. Mostly in FX.
I don’t plan on changing anything soon. I print up to A3 and I am still pleased with the results from my geriatric gear.

Thanks folks.....I'm thinking that maybe for me, the mirrorless was just a curiosity...I may yet jump...there are some wonderful shots on this thread!

If I was more invested in a "system" and had a collection of legacy lenses I might be more resistant to mirrorless, but I have one body and one lens, so it's not like I'd be out of a ton of money by switching and the advances are hard to ignore, for me anyway. I've shot a nice fujifilm mirrorless and it was probably the most fun I've ever had taking photos.

I've never even tried one, so it's all a bit of a "nice to have" at the moment....Maybe I shouldn't try one, in case I find out I HAVE to have one....

We went to the D-Day Memorial for Memorial Day today.
I took my G9X for the outing. I didn't want to haul a big camera around.

Don't you hate it when someone takes a picture of you taking a picture?

It's only one block long, but it's Guitar Heaven. I shot this pic of London's Denmark Street in 2017. 6

Make sure your album is set to public.
It’s a lot easier to do this from a computer, too. You need to click on the button to add an image, then paste your url there. That feature (and others) only displays in desktop mode.

Your bird pics are amazing, Eric! Even the fine feathers are clearly visible.

Just an iPhone shot from 2018 I took on London's West End at Leicester Square. These buskers really had "IT" and drew a huge crowd once they got going.

This photo isn't great quality from my cell camera. It was late in the day and not framed well. But it represents something to me. After two months of recovering from Covid and pneumonia, it represents my freedom again. Last weekend was the first time in two months that I've been free of the oxygen machine, able to attend church, and rode the bike for any considerable distance. I logged 90 miles on the back roads and felt like I've got my life back. Being told by doctors that I could've died, the church is symbolic for obvious reasons. I'm grateful for being on the green side of this earth instead of the root side.

i would love to get rid of them around my ponds... i have been researching ways to discourage them. they've cleared the pond of the big bass section of bull frogs we always have. they've been eating a lot of the fish and even the ones they're not strong enough to pull out of the water, they stab them and they die.
i don't have a fish farm, so i don't guess i could get a nuisance permit to shoot at them, i would hate to do that anyway... maybe just to scare them.
we have the little herons too...

Hmmmm, I thought i had this but it doesn't seem to work this time. i put the picture i wanted to upload into my public picture album, then set it to share and created the link... copied that link and used the "insert image" icon to paste it here... drew a blank... what adjustment do i need to make? duh...

Michael, look at reply #71 on page 3. Thank you... i didn't do it that way the first pictures, but for the life of me, i can't get it to work the way i thought i did it. this way worked FIRST time!
i'm not very good and my gear isn't that great, but i'm having fun... with the covid threat and a wife that worries, i don't get off the farm much so most of what i take is in my little corner of the world. we have a lot of wild life activity at the pond, and i get some interesting pictures from time to time.

I decided I'm not going to buy a new Corvette, so I'm updating the camera bag instead. Nikon recently announced the Z9, their first full blown professional mirrorless body. I had a chance to handle one Saturday, and I’m smitten. I’m a long time pro grade Nikon shooter, but haven’t had a new single digit body since the D1 twenty years ago. Time to start selling stuff…
