Eric, I couldn't find any info on the AM95 but the difference between the AM vs AS appears to be the top. One is quilted and the other is flame.

Lefty, that was my first choice when I was on Sweetwater looking to buy an Archtop electric but they only had one in a light blue I think at the time and they offered 48 month no interest payments for $22. It has the SH-58 pickups which are the best stock PAF style pickups I Have heard . They are as good as my Fralin Pure Vintage PAF’s I have in my SG if not better. I ended up getting my second choice Artcore Expressionist AG-95 with SH-58’s and I love it, but there is something in a 335 style guitar that is alluring. Maybe one day when this is paid for. I am not going to let it go for more than a year max before paying ot off

LeftyMeister, I just tried Howard's Feed and Wax. Sorry I guess it was you that recommended it to me. It did a fabulous job on my Fretboard. I used it on the guitar body and neck also. And it looks like enough to last me for years. Thank you

Whelp... The Eastman SB56 gold-top Les Paul with P90s arrived on Friday afternoon (just moments before I had to go out). Got to spend some time with it yesterday. So, here are my initial impressions. The build quality is outstanding. The reviewers have a lot of nice things to say about Eastman's take on a '50s Les Paul. All I can say is, they aren't exaggerating. This is a very well made and well-crafted guitar. Of course, at a price of $2,800 CDN, one shouldn't expect any less. But I certainly feel the overall quality is easily worth the price. I've never played a custom shop instrument of any brand, so I can't offer comparisons, but this is what I've always imagined custom-shop quality to be. The neck is fatter that those I normally gravitate toward (I usually reach for guitars with fast and slender necks), but it's not an issue at all. I was expecting a fatter, vintage-style neck to begin with, and this one is very comfortable to play. I adjusted to the difference straight out the box. Switches and tone pots all work well, and the hardware is solid. Loving the pickups, which are Lollar Custom Aged P90s. The neck pup is under-wound, which works for me as I like cleaner tones. I'm still experimenting with my amp to dial in the sweet spots, but I really like the overall beefy presence of the sounds from this guitar. (It sounds really nice unplugged, too). The case is excellent, and the guitar arrived with a very nice set up. I don't know if that was the factory set or something done at the store. Either way, the guitar arrived in great playing condition. The store also put an extra set of strings in the case, which was a nice touch. Speaking of the store, I bought this guitar from Acoustic Music in Edmonton. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I happily recommend them to anybody. You can check them out here: www.acousticmusicshop.com/Finally, here's a link to full specs on the Eastman SB56 for those who want all the details: www.eastmanguitars.com/sb56_n_gd

According to my ancient garage-sale bathroom scale, about six pounds, so let's call it seven. It's lighter than a Tele Custom I have, which is my heaviest guitar.

Congrats. Looks like a shrewd acquisition. Specs look good. Weight is astonishing.
Two things
1. Did you really feel the ‘Santa’ vibe? You mentioned, “feeling like a kid at Christmas” earlier.
2. Pictures. Everyone, so far, has been too polite to point out that these are required for our vicarious enjoyment.

A Fiesta Red Squier with a few flaws wowed me! Thought about it and called in after I left the store yesterday and bought it. Haven't been able to put it down yet! If it is indeed that color Fiesta Red that is awesome! I ordered a Fiesta Red Fender 50's P bass years ago and when I got it all I saw was Shell Pink. Back it went. A real disapointment! Then a few years later I bought a Squier Classic Vibe P bass in Fiesta Red that was like the color in your link and it was great. I was told that Fender over the years varied the shade of Fiesta Red. Anyway, enjoy your guitar! I LIKE

It is that color in the link. I posted a pic (for friends) from my cell phone and some thought it was Candy Apple red. Nope! It did not show well on my iPhone anyway.
It's a blast to play!
Do you still have your Fiesta Red Classic Vibe P Bass?

Do you still have your Fiesta Red Classic Vibe P Bass? Sadly no, That was a keeper of the 3 classic vibes (60's P, 50's P, 60's Jazz) I had, it was clearly the best. My wife gave me $500 in 2011 for my birthday to put toward a Bass. I traded all three plus used the money to purchase a new Fender American Special Bass that was really nice to play. If buying a classic vibe bass again it would be to 60's P. It rivaled an MIM that year.

I'm really surprised with the economy tanking that major guitar mfgrs. are not offering some crazy good deals.
Upcoming Memorial Day Sales would be great to see!

I got my LP Custom and successfully snuck it into the house. The key is telling your wife you bought a new guitar case. It worked like a charm.

I watched the interview with the founder of sweetwater that was posted in another thread. He said that it's been like black friday since the virus shut-down happened. So busy that he's spent some time in the shipping department himself.
