I'm really surprised with the economy tanking that major guitar mfgrs. are not offering some crazy good deals. Upcoming Memorial Day Sales would be great to see! I watched the interview with the founder of sweetwater that was posted in another thread. He said that it's been like black friday since the virus shut-down happened. So busy that he's spent some time in the shipping department himself. Yep, my sales rep said that he was crushed with work. I think that's the reason he gave me an upgraded case at no charge (the cheap one I wanted was back-ordered). He just wanted to get the guitar and case out the door at the same time so that it was 1 less thing he had to do. I'll take it!

Cha-ching! For both of you!
I think the distraction of having a new guitar is a positive thing for mental fitness these days.
Dive right in and learn some new stuff too. If you've never assimilated modes into your musical thinking, do some homework and put some of that useful information into your bag of tricks. It will make you a better player.
It's never too late to learn something new!
PRS has opened back up and is cranking out guitars in a limited capacity. Paul tried hard to keep as many employees as possible; he's a good man.

Don't get me started on modes! I've been thinking about modes and music theory for about the last 25 years...I don't think my brain works in a manner where I can understand it.
